Optical illusion

Hi readers I am back with a new content as you have guessed it this post is about optical illusions and there are 3 parts in this topic and this is the first one.

First of all let's see what an optical illusion is

Optical Illusions can use color, light and patterns to create images that can be deceptive or misleading to our brains. The information gathered by the eye is processed by the brain, creating a perception that in reality, does not match the true image. The perception of the image given to the brain doesn’t measure up. That’s why optical illusions are referred to as a “trick” of the eye.

Types of optical illusions

There are three main types of optical illusions literal illusions, physiological illusions and cognitive illusions.

Literal Optical Illusions

A literal illusion is when the image you see is different from the images that make it up. For example, the illustration Hill created which is actually two images strategically drawn to look like one fluid image is a literal illusion. Think of it as a reversible figure. The end result you see in a literal illusion is based on your perception. Both images exist. Some literal optical illusion pictures.

A face or a natural scenery

A tiger or a forest

A duck or a rabbit

As you have guessed the next two types of illusions are in the next parts.
Stay tuned.
Till then,
